JEFFREY FOSTER

Group Leader in Polymer and Supramolecular Chemistry

Organic and Polymer Synthesis - Self Assembly - Nanomedicine

ABOUT ME

I AM APPLYING FOR FACULTY POSITIONS IN FALL 2019

I am a synthetic chemist motivated to understand structure-property-function relationships to create materials with rationally designed functions and lifetimes. I believe that a better understanding of how polymers interact with their environment will foster a new generation of materials to meet global challenges.

My core expertise centers on organic and polymer synthesis, focusing on the concepts and applications of nanostructured materials. My experiences working both in the US and abroad shape my perspective as a researcher and mentor and provide a unique context for approaching scientific challenges.
